Fireproof, The #1 Inspirational Movie Was Dark And Depressing
Fireproof, the #1 "Inspirational" movie in America was very dark and depressing. It insisted on shoving evangelical Christianity down the viewer's throat. Evangelical Christianity may be the truth but I don't need to watch a film that uses fear to convince you of something.

Funny you should look at from that perspective. Although it had it moments of being dark and depressing. It merely illustrated the thoughts and emotions that many married couples struggle with. I did not see at as a use of fear to evoke someone to a call to action. But I did see is someone offering a solution based on their experience. Which is no different than a coach,teacher, or mentor motivating their student, athlete or pupil to better their situation. Based on your feedback it sounds like you are on the fence with Christianity being the truth. For me and my experience I know that Jesus is the way and the truth. May God Bless you!
